Rudraksha Matam
This Mutt, situated at a distance of 1 KM from the main Temple of Srisailam, has special feature of having the presence of Sivalinga (aniconic representation of Lord Shiva)
with a Rudrakshamala (rosary of Rudraksha beads) curved on it and embossed with Jhatajuta (curled plaits of uncombed hair) on the top of it.
It is believed that few Sages exists alive still performing deep penance in the cavity under the 10 ft big anthill formed in a corner of the Mutt and many aspirants of meditation were flooding to this Matt years back to have a darshan (physical appearance) of such great gifted Sages while doing meditation sitting inside this Mutt.
